Grace pendant

With her career spanning 42 years, Grace Hopper is one of the most recognized American computer scientists and Navy rear admiral. Beyond her outstanding intelligence in mathematics and computer programming, Hopper made an example of the power women have to break into fields dominated by men. She was awarded 40 honorary degrees from Universities around the world, has received the National Medal of Technology and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
